A mutual love for acoustic  music led two sets of siblings, the Ankneys and the Sokols,  to begin playing together in early 2005. Before long, they had grown close both musically and personally; a band was soon formed.

Camaraderie combines traditional bluegrass with jazz, Celtic, swing, folk and classical music. The band members, Jamin Ankney, Nick Sokol, Sarah Sokol and Emily Ankney are accompanied by Kindra Ankney on the upright bass.

Over the past couple of years, Camaraderie has had the privilege of playing at a variety of music venues ranging from festivals to fundraisers, cafes to community celebrations. The band brings youthful vivacity to the bluegrass music landscape with compelling originals and fresh arrangements of traditional favorites.
